My part-time solo practice is too small to be able to direct-bill insurance companies. I am an "Opted-Out" Medicare Provider.
We do have a sliding-fee scale.
"I have chosen to model my practice in the original tradition of A. T. Still, M.D., Physician/Founder of Osteopathic Medicine. In my practice the use of manual (Osteopathic) medicine is emphasized to treat the WHOLE person.
With 10 years experience in Family Practice, I chose to specialize in treating and curing musculoskeletal issues. This may include acute or chronic pain. I also treat familiar problems such as migraine headaches, sciatic pain, soft tissue injuries resulting from sports and auto accidents, Carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic ear infections and infant colic.
I offer the knowledge of safe and proven procedures, including my original application with the myofascial system in the improvement of lymphatic issues.
Choosing a healthcare provider is one of the most important decisions you can make.
You want someone who is caring, knowledgeable, and accessible; someone willing to take the time to treat you as a person, not just a patient.
Dr Landrum offers broad array of gentile techniques geared to address today’s most common injuries. We know there is no such thing as one-size-fits-all cure, so we never use a one-size-fits-all approach to your diagnosis.
Dr. Landrum has made the medical needs of patients, his focus. Since his groundbreaking work in New Zealand, opportunity now exists to allow USA Osteopathic physicians to practice there with a NZ medical license. In the future, this could include volunteer service to the many under served peoples in rural New Zealand and elsewhere.
Since graduating medical school in 1991, Dr. Landrum has been treating patients with some unusual and difficult-to-treat diagnoses, and has seen significant progress in the patient's health and well-being Our goal is to improve and maintain your overall health and to empower you with an understanding of your condition and wellness plan.
We are looking forward to helping you soon!

"If you're like most people, you've been going to physicians ever since you were born, but you're unaware that some or all of them could have been osteopathic physicians, also known as DOs. You may not even be aware that there are two types of complete physicians in the United States - DOs and MDs.
The fact is that both DOs and MDs are fully qualified physicians licensed to prescribe medication and perform surgery.
• DOs practice a "whole person" approach to medicine. Instead of just treating you for specific symptoms or illnesses, they regard your body as an integrated whole.
• Osteopathic physicians focus on preventive health care.
• DOs receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system - your body's interconnected system of nerves, muscles and bones that makes up two-thirds of your body mass. This training provides osteopathic physicians with a better understanding of how an illness or injury in one part of your body can affect other parts."

Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) is incorporated into the training of all osteopathic physicians and the daily practice of many osteopathic physicians. Physicians may specialize and become "Board Certified" in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (NMM/OMM).
"Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, or OMT, is a set of hands-on techniques used by osteopathic physicians (DOs) to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness or injury. Using OMT, a DO moves a patient’s muscles and joints using techniques that include stretching, gentle pressure and resistance.
As part of their education, DOs receive special training in the musculoskeletal system, the body’s intricate system of muscles, nerves and bones. This advanced training provides DOs with a keen understanding of how the body’s systems are interconnected and how each one affects the others. When appropriate, OMT can complement, and even replace, drugs or surgery. In this way, DOs bring an important dimension to standard medical care."
